Dr. Patricia Sebastian, a Board certified physician, is an advocate for Primary Care Medicine. This passion for primary care was a natural blend of her Native American background in traditional healing with her undergraduate training in Nutrition from the University of Connecticut, graduate studies in Nutrition from Emory University, employment at the Veterans Administration Hospital, then excellence in medical training from Howard University School of medicine and post graduate training in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine.
Upon completion of her Boards, she opened up a private practice in Pediatrics and General Family Practice serving a diverse clientele in the Washington Metropolitan area.
In May 2005, she was selected to represent the United States as a physician ambassador to China. She traveled to several cities in China observing and interacting with the Chinese medical physicians and the practitioners of Traditional Chinese medicine. She has also traveled to France, Singapore, Puerto Rico and Mexico observing and interacting with the medical practitioners and healers.
In 2009, she entered into the public speaking arena which included radio broadcasts, commercial clips, group sessions, and speaking engagements. This included correspondence with President Barack Obama. In 2010, she returned to Connecticut, accepting the position of Medical Director at the MPTN. Having successfully served this community, she is presently the Executive Director for the online consultative service www.DrPatSebastian.com. She is partnering with several of her colleges in providing motivational lectures and workshops on cutting edge therapies and concerns in the Health Care arena.
